Guitarists will appreciate this: the Django Swing page with a huge compendium of tips and tricks for playing just like the all time swing master. (How they reverse engineered the fingerings of the chords I’ll never know.)
Normal remixers can dig around the site for some of the the clean audio clips (in AU format) of swing guitar riffs. |

It’s incredibly that he played like that despite/because of only having two fingers and a thumb. I read that he inspired Tony Iommi (from Black Sabbath) to continue playing after he lost the tips of all of his fingers in a factory accident.
I naturally shy away from bar chords and lean toward dyads and triads myself, so this stuff looks appealing to try to me.
