It was my search to the answer of your leading question that brought me over to CC and ccM in the first place. As a working musician, I saw the handwriting on the monitor. And while I still haven't figured it out (and have the bank account to prove it), I feel I at least understand and agree with everything in your post, which amazingly enough still isn't "common knowledge". Look for as rash of new "music marketing gurus" in the mold of 1/2 assed Zig Ziglars passing off their "new angle" as the Way. I have already seen this shit in my tiny little backwater..
